Chances are the games anounced at E3 (or rather the games mentioned by name in the Feb Nintendo Direct) will be the first ones to show the use of two pads.
Former something....

So you are telling me that Nintendo will replace any broken game pads for free?

That was unnecessary
A new 4 swords could benefit from multi-game-pad support - that would be awesome. Think Ocarina of Time, 4 player style.

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

They are working on it, some day we will be able to use two gamepads......
Miyamoto said that two game priorities were 2-pad games and NFC games. The first NFC game was announced already, and I think we'll here about a 2-pad game soon. I think at e3 we'll learn about a title - possibly even Mario or MarioKart - that can use two pads. The Gamepad will probably go on solo sale this fall. Last Christmas the gamepad was considered a bottleneck for prouduction of WiiU systems so they didn't want to divert efforts into making solo pads. I would think costs would also be down by fall for making them so they could be sold at a reasonable price.

Just an FYI - for all multi-player games the 2nd, 3rd, 4th player uses either wiimote/nunchuk or classic controller pro.
Currently no game supports more than one gamepad and if and when they do - it'll come with a price. Lower FPSs. Two gamepads will be the max and that'll likely be for games that aren't graphically taxing (or just using the gamepad screens for something basic like maps).
If that seems idiotic to you... well... you wouldn't be the only one to feel that way.
Hmm....expensive, but good to know
I'll pass it on, not sure if my friend is willing to spend 150 bucks on it, but he's kinda crazy so it's possible
