Great day for MGSV and SMM (I'm not gonna bother commenting on MHX because it's kinda obvious that it does well.)

MGSV PS4 might get to 300, which is way above (my) expectations. I was hopeful that it could reach 250, 300 is just absurd. Hope it gives one helluva hardware boost, always nice to see AAA homeconsole games do well in Japan, and the console hardware itself as well.

Are pre-orders open for God Eater in Japan?

Go Super Mario Maker! I think there's no doubt that it's going to sell better than 3D World FW.

I do wonder what caused MGS V to pick up its pace so much in the final stretch, well beyond what is normal. My general suspicion is the Famitsu and Metacritic scores confirming that it was excellent, since it was possible that people were concerned about its quality. The timing seems to indicate this may have been the case.

Hopefully MGS makes it 300 on PS4 tomorrow.
