i feel lucky, there is no franchise i love that makes bad games now. although there are dead franchises i wish they brought back
Final Fantasy - it has really fallen from grace, i used to get excited for this franchise because before the 12th game(not including the Online one) they had not made a bad main series game in my opinion.
I bought FF12 because i expected a good game, what i got was a very polished, but ultimately boring game that was not for me.
FF13 put the nail in the coffin as far as me getting excited for new games in this franchise.
I am still excited at the prospect of posssible remakes and HD remasters of the old games in the series, i can't wait for the HD remaster of FFX/FFX-2, and i am still holding out for a remake of the games from FF5 up to FF9(that is if they just do a graphical update and fix bugs, no touching the core game mechanics).

Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo. Yeah, that was a long time ago.
I got excited about Call of Duty when they were doing games in the WW2 theme so I haven't been excited since Call of Duty 3, of course bought WaW as well.
Crash is a long dead franchise for me.
And I'm not really excited for MGS5 even though I loved MGS4, the franchise lost some of its magic for me.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Mario Kart
- loved SMK, played MK64 during the whole N64 era, played the hell out of MKDD getting WRs and being #1 tournament player in my country
- MKW was a let down, MK7 got boring really fast
- not hyped for MKU
Super Smash Bros.
- pretty much the same as Mario Kart above, just quicker (N64-Wii instead of SNES-3DS) and without being actually good at it lol
