Where does it say that? It specifically states it will be on next-gen platforms.

It will be on WiiU/PS4/PS3/PC/X360/NXbox/and probably even Wii.

More than likely there will be  difference in online multiplayer for old and new gens, just like Watch_Dogs or was it ACV that was mentioned to be being build on next-gen first then old gen... specifically stating WiiU was part of next-gen.

How does it mean MS have no games to show? At PS4 announcement there were numerous 3rd party stuff.

COD stole the show in previous E3 events of MS, so it will do it this time too. I know it's your gut feeling too, that the people most likely will be disappointed by the Xbox show and lack of exclusive games.

Btw, what 3rd party stuff did PS4 have? I forgot...

Its a good move. Predictable move, but still a good move. I dunno I want to see an action/adventure, platformer, puzzle game, rpg game or something from them or something. Microsoft have very much of their own so something refreshing is always welcome.

I didnt expect RESPAWN to give them an exclusive. Thats a surprise...something unexpected. Microsoft will have the most dominant shooter companies gravitating to them either exclusively or with timed exclusives in the US. So basically its all shooter right now. One big shooter family!

More people will watch the launch yes, but honestly, do you want the Xbox to be considered as the multiplat console once again?

After all, the biggest audionce of the show will be people who are already deep into gaming, like the gamers on the internet. Don't you think the GAF people will complain if MS only showed say two core exclusives? They will say that MS relied on COD once again.

Its like a six hour high budget michael bay action movie. Black Ops 2 had one of the best scripts that the franchise definitely needed. Very linear and holds you by the hand, but fun for what it is its pretty good. I am into storylines in games but most of my friends are into the multiplayer first. I am more of a battlefield guy though. COD is kind of run and gun but its fun to play with a group of your friends just to see who can rack up a kill count.

Story: COD> Battlefield

Multiplayer: Battlefield>>>>>>>>COD

To defend MS for a second, they have been investing in two or three exclusives. Lets hope they are good and sell or else Microsoft will drop them all and depend on third party again. The reason I have hope is this is a fresh team built by Microsoft (not purchased by them) to make a game. Microsoft is better with companies they own than companies they buy. The free thinking ideals dont help with them.

From an economic POV it's a good move, but remember the respect factor. Gamers all around the world are upset by the focus on multiplatform games.
