looks like xbox 360 is still being supported

looks like Microsoft haven't abandoned the xbox 360 like some people were saying they would.

Why is there no mention of the Wii U and PS4?

They fall under the "also available for next gen platforms" statement. Not that they named the nextbox specifically either.

I didn't.

Also remind me, what did Sony's reveal open up with? That's right.

Has BF4 been confirmed for PS4? That's right. COD: Ghosts been confirmed for PS4? That's right.

Let's not pretend Sony isn't trying everything it can to get all the shooters as well.

Nintendo would do the same if it could.

"Everyone was expecting us to make Modern Warfare 4, which would have been the safe thing to do. But we're not resting on our laurels," Rubin said in a statement. "We saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call of Duty. So we're building a new sub-brand, a new engine, and a lot of new ideas and experiences for our players. We can't wait to share them with our community."

No I can't say I did.  I expected CoD for next gen but I thought it would just be a port, not a completely new engine and game.  I give Activision and Infinity Wards props for going to next gen with a new title and new engine.

Every E3 for the past like what four years has opened up with COD for the Xbox 360.

And you just made my point, May 21st isn't E3, so no I wasn't expecting it there.

Well, this discussion was a simple one wouldn't you agree.

Oh, *cough*HALO4E32012*, just for punctuality.

I did. Even Capcom put up a new engine. Well I hope you like it.

LOL How predictable is this? Thats two shooters that I am expecting to see at the show.

Exactly. So expected.

In reality people should be disappointed by this because it means MS has not many own games to show. I am disappointed by that.

But in this thread the whole thing is labeled as a master stroke of genious.
