The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming is set to raise the bar once again with the all-new Call of Duty®: Ghosts. Published by Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard (Nasdaq: ATVI), and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the seminal Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® series, Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers in the next generation of the franchise. The new title delivers a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast of characters, all powered by a new, next generation Call of Duty engine that redefines the series for the next generation.

Infinity Ward is going all-in to create the next generation of Call of Duty worthy of the world's greatest fans."

"Everyone was expecting us to make Modern Warfare 4, which would have been the safe thing to do. But we're not resting on our laurels," said Mark Rubin, executive producer of developer Infinity Ward. "We saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call of Duty. So we're building a new sub-brand, a new engine, and a lot of new ideas and experiences for our players. We can't wait to share them with our community."

Around the Network

Im actually excited to see their next gen engine

Im pretty burnt out on the franchise but this is really a chance for them to breath new life into the game. Im hoping they up the number of players, bigger maps, and vehicles.

Wow wasnt expecting that honestly. That just ensured many more people willbe watching the reveal now considering how huge CoD is

Well the teaser looks well done. COD will finally be getting a graphics bump and maintaing that 60FPS on next gen. Seems like they are sticking with Microsoft in next gen too. Hoping no dlc exclusive deals but those are not big deal to me.

ow.. now I'm even more hyped for the xbox reveal.. billions of casual players with me.. yes billions.. nice on MS

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Just imagine if Microsoft used there bank and got thenew cod to appear on there next gen console. Obviously theres not enough money to prevent them from putting it out on current gen but maybe there is so the ps4 doesnt get it at launch

This may be the first time i get hyped for a CoD since MW2

I'm interested but not expecting too much. I will just wait until the 21st May i guess

Xbox One, PS4 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch will sell better than Wii U Lifetime Sales by Jan 1st 2018

No Wii U edition, dang! Things really aren't looking good for Nintendo's third party relationships. Even if the game eventually releases on the Wii U, the fact that they didn't display the console at all shows their lack of care in support.

So its gonna be a cross gen game.
