I want to be able to draw maps.

Lets me draw maps, Nintendo.

How far are you in Etrian Odyysey IV, Carl2291?

Thats the first I've heard about that game. I looked it up and it certainly looks... different.

Say WHAAAAAAAAAA-!?!

It's awesome. Fantastic series. Modernized dungeon crawler, great mechanics, tons of content. And you draw your own damn maps, old-school style.

Get it. Buy it. Loooove it.

Well the only Zelda I've completed was 2D (Link's Awakening, I believe) and I'll say that I liked it (although I was like 11).

Is this the first LoZ #2 (sequel) ever?

Nah, most games come in pairs, even it isn't obvious, featuring the same Link and Zelda.

The first Zelda and Zelda II are a pair, which is the most obvious one. A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening and the Oracle games are a trilogy (or quadrilogy actually), which means that this Link will now have starred in five games. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are a pair. The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass are a pair, with Spirit Tracks following the same story a couple centuries later.

The only true stand-alone games, where both the Link and Zelda and the story of the game are unique are Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

The Minish Cap's Link and Zelda are unique too, but it's story is continued in Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures which take place some time after it. The latter two were supposed to be a pair too, but they retconned it in the Hyrule Historia book so now they take place centuries apart making their Links and Zeldas unique also.

Does look pretty cool, unfortunately not out until Summer over here.

Ill keep it on my radar!

I find it strange that the Japanese release date is 2014 when US is 2013. Maybe a Western dev is making it. Please correct me if I'm mistaken

Twilight Princess came out in the West before it came out in Japan. It's not unprecedented for the series.

Because the Japanese that aren't Capcom don't know how to make games anymore doesn't mean U.S. studios don't.  Naughty Dog got Uncharted games out on 2 year cycles and are some of the most polished games this gen.  Same with Killzone, Infamous, God of War, etc.  None of those games had delays and were released in a timely fashion.  I will bring up Sony cause outside of Japan Studios they get their shit together.  I'm not saying Link to the Past 2 is going to be a bad game, I never said that, I said it's going to be good.  I said Nintendo can't be bothered to do anything but rehashing games.  What was the last thing they've made that was different?  Super Mario Galaxy?  And yes Nintendo has had how many years to invest in studios and people? And yes they should be expanding their studios for me, I'm their consumers, they take money from me, they should be using their profits to invest.   What are we getting instead?  A quick cash in on nastalgia and a Wind Waker port?  Excuse me for calling Nintendo out and being a disgruntled customer.

There have been 4 Uncharted vs how many Mario?  There are 9 core 2D Mario games alone (Not counting Doki Doki Panic).  1 of them wasn't released here initially since it was too similar to the previous one.

To Carl, honestly I wouldn't have cared so much, if the game was going to cost less than 40 dollars.  That's what's pissing me off, they're qiuckly throwing a game together for a cash in, and I'm supposed to be happy with this?  It's like all those re-releases of Final Fantasy 4 (Except that company is in bad shape because of the way they're handling their properties).

except for the little detail that every sequel of your beloved franchsies have the same gameplay. (not counting gt, i mean it's a racing simulator)...why do you think Nintendo franchises survived so long? there will be no place for an Uncharted Game in 20 years.

Oh, god damn it. I was hyped, but that art style just kills it for me. Fuck 2.5D.

Still, seeing some of those familiar things really makes me nostalgic.

This. After seeing OOT 3D This kind of look is unnacceptable I don't care about the camera angle (Kind of like it) but 2.5 D? Hell even the DS ones were in 3D.

Same goes to Mario & Luigi Dream Team. 2.5 D graphics where they could've use full 3D. I don't want to feel that I'm playing a GBA when I have a 3DS in my hands... EVEN Minish Cap looks better with its 2D Graphics.

God, Sometimes I just don't understand Nintendo's decisions.

i guess they used this graphics stlye cause of the 3D mode and cause it is a direct sequel.
