I'm one of those people! I still have more of them to play, and haven't really played Halo 4 yet.

But Halo: Reach was something different and special.  I had that devastated moment when it was over, like you had a lost a virtual friend.  It was a different kind of Halo game, but I really liked it.

Currently, it is my favorite.  But as I said, I haven’t played Halo 4 yet.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

never played 2  hopefully we will see a Halo2 anniversary edition with the awesome "press select to TIME TRAVEL" feature xD

ODST was also my least favorite it was the only Halo game I sold. 

Just started Halo4 yesterday and it somewhat feels strange it reminds me of Metroid Prime (which I really like and it looks gorgeous.)


P.S. Halo 1 for me right now because even after playing the Anniversary Edition after all those years (played Halo1 on PC back then)  it feels fresh and somewhat funnier than the other more "serious" games. 

I might change my favorite tho  once I am done with Halo4.

CE, nothing comes close to the first game imo.

Of the games I have played, it goes:

1. Halo 2
2. Halo: CE
3. Halo 3

For Halo 2, I really liked how the single player campaign alternated between characters. It seemed more varied than the first Halo. The multiplayer also got rid of the ridiculously overpowered pistol, too. My group of friends tried going back to the original Halo multiplayer after playing Halo 2 for a while. We switched right back to Halo 2.
