no. Move don't have a screen

Not sure if serious...

... Use the tele as the screen and Move as a cursor?

/facepalm

did you read it?

No, the control-scheme will not work with the Gamepad. But, a RTS made for the WiiU will work, the gamepad allows for these type of games. But I expect a smaller company to try that.

10 years greatest game event!

bets: [GTA6]

would be gimped so much lol

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

What? Explain yourself.

Ok...

Obviously the PS3/4 don't have screens on their pads to play the game with, but it's not like when playing the game on your PC you touch the monitor to interact with it, you use a mouse which is seperate to the monitor.

Now, take what I've just said, and replace monitor with tele/TV, or keep it as monitor if you use consoles on your monitor... and replace mouse with Playstation Move, since it's a seperate device used to control what happens onscreen... just like a mouse! And you can "point and click" faster than with a Dualshock controller too... so it'd obviously work better.

...Does that explain what I mean?

Ok, same problem with PS3/Vita cross play, it requires you to buy an extra add on device to make it work. Wii U also has the Wii mote, it be easier on the Wii U. Also why are bring Sony into a conversation about Starcraft, and Wii U?

I would love it. But to truly be awesome they would also have to add voice controls. Voice controls and touch pad and keyboard and i'll be set for my RTS fixes.

RTS on Wii U would work great. However, I really hate that some folks insist on calling the goddamn controller a "tablet". A tablet is specifically a device whose ONLY means of interaction is a touch screen interface. The GamePad is what the name implies: a traditional CONTROLLER, with all the requisite buttons and sticks and whatnots, that happens to have a sizeable touch screen, ala DS, in it's center.

Having said that, I've never been into Starcraft. But if someone were to, say, make a NEW rts IP for Wii U, and it was good and actually worked, I'd be all over it.

This would never work with a touch pad. Play the game online and say that again.

I'm sure some of the same people here claiming this would work well also say tablets aren't real gaming machines because of the controls. Am I wrong?

That's because of the lack of buttons. The Wii U controller has buttons, anlogue stcks and it's really comfortable.

if this was mean't as a joke its not even funny.

It will not happen, but my god if it did....

As it stands I have 950 hours logged on SC2 and growing daily, a wii u version would just end any sort of hope for free time I may have had.

u would rather play a wiiU version?. if the pc version and wiiU version were connected through battlenet you would never be able to make it out of gold league.

Blizzard have millions of dollars committed to the competitive scene. The whole game focuses on them more than casual players. Wii U doesn't fit their vision.
