he should have stayed in new zealand, its the same with every foreignor , if you don't like the place then don't live in it, just do your job and go back to your home, its not that other countries are brutal, its the western countries (and new zealand) that are spoiled with peacefulness.

It's just that a lot of western prisons are super comfy.. people shouldn't think prison is a nice place.. and were is the story of the man that died? maybe they got into argument before? maybe he was involved with the chinese mafia and they send thugs after him? Just because he has access to youtube doesn't mean this is the "real" China.. I have worked many times in china with no problems at all..

It's silly to worry. I've been to China three times in the last 8 years, it was a surprisingly wonderful experience. The only place where I felt a little discomfort was in Hong Kong.

I would be much more worried in the US where there is a high crime rate, lots of murders, and all sorts of people with guns.

What caused your discomfort in HK? I've been living here for 8 months or so, now. The only real discomfort I get is days after rainstorms... so humid.

Jesus, as an Chinese, I want to say this is bullshit. And to some posters that mentiond "No" reason to China, I only need to say you are not deserved to go to China. Have you ever seen a country with the fastest economic growth nowadays and have you ever seen a country with so many nice foods and so many places/landscaps to visit?

I have brought more than 5 Dutch friends of mine to China and all of them loves the country to the hell, its food, its beauty and its different kinds of services treating you like a God.
