Funny thing I notice immediatly is the lack of well known 360 fans in that list. Second thing I notice is ronestar may love sega but he switched to 360. and j_allard is with 360 too. I cant be bothered to look at the lists now but in my opinion they are are close when I add the people i know off the top of my head to MS and subtract the ones I dont on the Sony threads. Probably like 50 MS to 60-70 Sony.

The ones I added for the 360 list were from memory. I went back and made sure they were still active. People like seece were not so I didn't add them. Give me more time and I bet the list would be longer. I deleted non active users for the Sony list... I still need to go through the MS list and give it the same treatment but I'm kinda tired of going through...


Slimebeast, Turkish, etc, etc.  Funny how even despite spinning your numbers to try and lower your totals you still keep missing lots of regular posters from the Sony side (the list not being alphabetical makes it more awkward).  Then of course you've got PDF as a Microsoft poster which is not the case (he's working as our double agent but doesn't know it).  

The point being every poll, the thread counts and even that team thread all disprove your point and only your selective memory list even vaguely supports your view (in your head at least).  You're wrong, it really is time to stop flogging that horse fella.

I would have no problem keeping you if you become an active member whos posts would garner attention... after all im fighting the claim that "ps fans run rampant on these threads" and considering 30 posts is a drop in the ocean the people making those claims couldn't possibly notice you as of yet to be able to talk about you

And Im sick and tired of people saying Rare havent done anything worthwhile.

Rare have been key in the Kinect push. Rare have been key in the entire Xbox push towards a more casual consumer. Actually, Rare's involvement with Kinect and Avatars is probably the biggest and best thing the team has done since they started out.

Stop clinging on to the past. Look at whats happening now. Kinect Sports sold over 5.5 Million units. A shit game doesnt sell 5.5 Million units. Its Rare's most successful game ever. It sold more than Donkey Kong 64. It sold more than Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie combined. They created Viva Pinata which is a successful IP and guess what? Theyre currently making a bunch more new games for next gen AND Kinect.

Stop holding onto your past memories. Rare moved on for the better, you should too.

Shit games sell 5 million plus units all the time.

Kinect Sports is mediocre, just like Viva Pinata, just like Nuts 'n' Bolts, just like Starfox Adventures. (Yep, that's right, I'm not a Nintendo owner still upset they left, they were already a shadow of their former self before they left) Based on their last decade of work, I don't have faith that their next gen efforts will be any better.

Rare were once widely considered one of the best developers in the planet, now they're not even considered above average.

Seriously though, my overall point still stands. Its the most successful game they've had since '97 sales-wise and their 3rd most successful game overall. That's pretty good to say that Rare are now "terrible". Impact-wise, the work they have done on Avatars and Kinect has been extremely important for Xbox.
