I've been lurking on this site since 2007 and the composition of posters has basically been the same.

Sony posters slightly over Nintendo posters if not the same with both being greatly above Microsoft posters

2 PS fans are loader then a crowed of ninty fans, and MS fans happen to be very cunning.

MS and Sony fans are just loader.

@scottie: PS forums just have more to talk about. Nintendo still reigns supreme. all you have to do is make a thread about who has the better ip, or the most iconic ip, and ninty would do as they always do in those polls, and win.

As others have said Sony fans have ruled this site pretty much since it began.
Nothing has changed other than Sony fans now feel they will win the coming generation so their confidence is at an all time high. Thus leading them to be incredibly outspoken

ive been here a while and its always been 50/50 with sony and nintendo +/- 5 depending on sales. right now though, the only thing holding the nintendo fans on the site is the 3ds. no fan like to see their console doing poorly, and even less would post because of it.

Personally, i could care less though i just like talking about games mostly.

I've been around a LONG time (33 years old) so watching Nintendo slip and fall like this is nothing new to me. Hell, it was just yesterday when I was on the first Xbox, talking over live and telling people they should play Metroid Prime and having to endure the non stop ridicule.

Nintendo's released six home consoles and only TWO have dominated from start to finish. They're only 50% on consoles that won. So, to me? This seems more normal lol

I disagree. I think it is the opposite. This site is built on sales data. Sony has been in 3rd place and in the red for the entire generation. Sony has made a great comeback but it's nothing like the PS2 era. I think defeat may bring people here more than victory. Unfortunately defeat also brings the worst out of people and it shows up the most in fanboys who take it so personally. Those without complaint don't feel the need to complain, but those with grievance speak their mind.

I don't really notice a change from the usual, but then again, I could just be getting more and more used to the endless crowds of Sony fans. After all, both of the message forums I've frequented (the now defunct Gamepro in the early 2000s and Vgchartz in the mid/late 2000s) have been notorious for their heavy population of hardcore Sony fans. I guess I've become immune. Though I will say, even though many of the Sony fans here tend to go a little overboard with hyping up everything Sony, at least most of them are not downright hostile to Nintendo and its fans like at that cesspool known as Gamepro, or if they are, they keep quiet about it.

The minority opresses the majority! Free the Sony-fans of the unjust rule of the Nintendo-fans! Revolution!
