Forums - Nintendo - What are some WiiU Third Party Launch Titles you want to buy?

What's your favorite WiiU 3rd party Launch title?

ZombiU 37 38.54%

Darksiders II 11 11.46%

Batman Arkam City: Armored Edition 7 7.29%

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge 6 6.25%

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 7 7.29%

Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed 8 8.33%

Scribblenauts Unlimited 12 12.50%

Mass Effect 3 6 6.25%

Sky landers 2 2.08%

Total:96

Launch titles I bought:
- Trine 2 (very good game, plus: it's a 2D beauty)
- Little Inferno (nice for a few min but doesn't come even remotely close to World of Goo)
- Nano Assault Neo (okay, but not my genre; bought it mostly to support the Nintendo-loving developers)

Post launch titles I bought:
- The Cave (message to Ron: your games lost their magic a long time ago; they are still decent, but can't be called good or very good anymore, let alone brilliant; and no, this is not an adventure game, no matter how often you want to convince your fans)
- Zen Pinball 2 (not played yet but it will be good, no doubt)

Launch titles I'll get some day:
- Assassin's Creed 3 (once again I'll hate the gameplay and the story but love the setting; it's already down to 45€, will be 25-30 soon)

Future titles considered:
- Pier Solar HD
- Lego City: Undercover
- Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

As for the games in the poll:
- I already got Scribblenauts on DS and iPad.
- If I ever finish the Mass Effect trilogy, it will be on the system I bought the first two for (X360).
- I don't care about the rest. I considered Darksiders II for a few days, but lost any interest in this game the moment I realized I'll soon be able to play Wind Waker on WiiU (my most favourite GC game besides Paper Mario: TTYD and Metroid Prime).

BTW: I noticed that one of the (critically) best early WiiU 3rd party titles is never mentioned anywhere: NBA 2K3 (I would have considered this game if I'd still play sports sims).

OK, go play that. You have to buy tables as DLC, and that is pretty expensive if you want all (people tend to like Plants vs. Zombies, Epic Quest and Sorcerer's Lair the most, so you might consider them). You can try out every table, it plays for a minute or so. But what makes it really addicting is, that you see highscores and weekly highscores of people on your friendlist. And it can be fun to hunt the highscore of someone else. Early on the scores there easy to beat, but now they get more and more higher.  I'm awaiting your scores to turn up in my list

I bought all currently available tables the day the game was released.

You will have to wait a little longer. Ni No Kuni (PS3) and The Book of Unwritten Tales 1+2 (PC) are next on my playlist.

Holy, all tables! That is expensive. I bought around the half. I hope I can beat some scores of you soon!

Whenever I finish my Wii backlog, I'll be checking out price reductions on ZombiU (which I've already seen drop to 30 EUR) and maybe NFS:MW (though I would prefer a WiiU edition of DiRT instead).
