I never realized how epic Fire Emblem looked before the trailer, classic fantasy for the win! Anyone played it? Is it like Shining Force in any way?

Third party section was pretty barren. I really hope they have things in store for E3. EA actually putting effort into need for speed is nice though, a racing game fills a much needed void. Kazumi in Ninja Gaiden for the win!

Fire Emblem tramples all over Shining Force. If you want a strategy RPG, you really don't need to think twice about getting this game.

Then get it I shall :)

If you watched their last Direct, they did mention at the end that one was coming very soon to focus on 3rd party Wii U games.

I took the survey that offered before the thing began. It seems they are looking into making an online store you can purchase directly from. I mention they should just reopen the Nintendo World Store, I use to buy a lot of my Nintendo themed toys from them.

Really? So they were! My apologies then, I thought PXZ was a summer title for some reason. In which case I have no idea, though I'm fairly confident it will be localised at some point.

Oh I somewhat agree, but right now all signs are pointing towards "Just wait until June guys! You know we're good for it!" (and they are, but it is a while off...). Despite what they've said about not repeating the 3DS' launch issues... It's the 3DS launch all over again.

Yeah, pretty much. At least we can hope for a 3DS style turnaround then, once the good stuff finally hits. Which might not be until the end of year holidays at this rate... :(


I think what Nintendo meant by not wanting to repeat the 3DS launch mistake was ....not launching it right around Holiday season so they could sell a bunch of consoles withht having many games for it.  And I believe Nintendo executed that to perfection with Wii U.
