So, a couple of days ago HBO released some pictures, and some of the actors playing new characters.

Normally I would just post a picture of Arya Stark, but Mance Rayder looks really badass.

So which book is this gonna be? I heard they were making one of the books 2 seasons.

While I always anticipate the Song of Ice and Fire books more (I really envy the folks coming in late not having to wait on books 4 and 5) the show is great and helps take me back to Westeros.

My understanding is Seasons 3 and 4 will be the 3rd book (Storm of Swords) so means the finale will be insane for people who do not know what is coming this year. I think the third book is the pinnacle thus far of my favorite series, so yes I am thrilled to see how it is handled.

Winter is in full force today with snow, winds and crappy visibility. Also some reports of ice king sightings. Yet no sign of Game of Thrones. It starts in spring (ignoring people of southern hemisphere).

Storm of Swords, and I heard that as well, meaning "RW" will mark the end of this season. ;)

Looking forward to it. I am always sad that there are only 10 episodes each season. It goes at a snails pace.
