While I always anticipate the Song of Ice and Fire books more (I really envy the folks coming in late not having to wait on books 4 and 5) the show is great and helps take me back to Westeros.
My understanding is Seasons 3 and 4 will be the 3rd book (Storm of Swords) so means the finale will be insane for people who do not know what is coming this year. I think the third book is the pinnacle thus far of my favorite series, so yes I am thrilled to see how it is handled.
