To a company that hasn't made a $1 profit in years, bleeding money every quarter and recently had to sell their major buildings for money just to rent them back out? That's what you call moving forward in his career lol?  I guess I have a distorted view of relative directions, anyway congratulations guy no one cared about until now.

No, you're wrong. "True gamers" have been appalled by the direction this guy took Rare. They hate him for it, the never stop making threads about it or commenting on Rare in such a way. Indeed, ironically, it was the Sony and Ninty fans that were the most vocal in this regard. Amazing huh?

Im pretty sure they posted a profit in a quarter in 2012. $350 Million was it? Correct me if Im wrong.

I call moving forward finding new challenges at a great workplace. He chose to leave Microsoft and go there for a reason
