And now he will be a genius rather than a man that has helped ruin Rare and forced Kinect shovelware on us all.

What a load of condescending garbage.

I wasn't aware brits were using the word 'garbage'. Becoming more americanised by the day.

Lol. Oh dear. Virtually nothing in US abused English is new.

Garbage:

Origin:
1400–50; late Middle English:  discarded parts of butchered fowls;compared with garbelage  the removal of waste from spices (< Anglo-French, Old French;  see garble-ageor Old French garbage  tax onsheaves of grain, though shift of sense, and form in first case, isunclear

Synonyms
2. litter, refuse, junk, rubbish.

Yeah, I'm sure you just started using a late middle english word circa 1400 without any american influence.

I can feel the hypocrisy too. But, Is it fair to say he helped ruin Rare with the kinect games ?

After all he had to follow orders from above.

This.

Yeah... pretty much everyone who worths anything as a true game creator is running from MS at the moment. All they want is to get their dumbed-down media box in as many rooms as possible.  Their 1st party is garbage for 2 generations in a row, and every tallent from them is moving away. What remains of Rare is indeed close to trash, but dont offend other for trying something new and exciting .

Lets be honest now, even Cube is far better than anything Molyneux made since B&W.

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

This guys talent will be used to newer efforts, so lets see how it turns out, shall we? Rare is done, they were done the second the Stamper Bros left and everything else has been a funded experience living off of the Rare memory by Microsoft who cannot replicate their "Golden Era" results just by paying people. Lets see what new titles this guy can create once hes around Sony staff.

It's an observation. An accurate one. Not negative dribbling in any way. Whereas what you said was condescending garbage. Tired of hearing how awful rare now is and how Kinect is bad for gamers and nothing but shoveleare, now he will no some kind of gaming god "coming home". It's hypocritical BS.

Why does it bother you so much that people on the Internet are being hypocrites?

The man decided to move forward in his career. Be happy for him!

To a company that hasn't made a $1 profit in years, bleeding money every quarter and recently had to sell their major buildings for money just to rent them back out? That's what you call moving forward in his career lol?  I guess I have a distorted view of relative directions, anyway congratulations guy no one cared about until now.

If the guy was a janitor at Microsoft and becomes a CEO at Sony eventough Microsoft is 1billion times wealthier, you don't consider it moving forward in career? This guy has no managerial nor financial role in the company, he sits at a position where Sony's financials are none of his business, and if you're no stock holder, neither is it your business.

Things like this seem to happen all the time. Sony Euro guy goes to MS... Epic people leaving for other projects... Capcom guy joined PSABR dev team... Now this guy. Seems to me that devs are scrambling with the end of this generation.

So all first part Xbox first party ever is garbage ?  Thanks for your pointless contribution.

The irony is the opposite of what you say in your first sentence is true. Decent individuals, developers, are flocking TO microsoft studios. As evidenced in the last 12 months.

Microsofts first party hasnt been stellar outside of Halo and Forza. If I saw how deep Microsofts pockets were and they were serious about funding a top notch gaming project i would join them too. Black Tusk is a testament to that idea.

I don't blame him. Being ordered to work on Kinect all day has to get boring at some time. Now he can work on the PS4 Move!

Obviously, something went down that sparked some interest at Sony. Whatever he decides to do, as a fellow industry contributor, I wish him well.

Sony is well known for allowing creative freedom. This could definitely be a factor.

He wanted a change. No problem with that.
