If all the ice melted the Earth would still not be flooded.

The polar ice caps have not existed in Earth's past, likewise, the earth has been completely frozen over at least twice for several thousand millennia in it's history.  We really only need to go back about 40-50,000 years ago before the last ice age when the earth was ice free.

What helped to create the last ice age and  the polar ice caps was the formation of Central America through tectonic plate action that caused a divide between the Atlantic and Pacific ocean.  Prior to that, the oceans were warmer, keeping the polar caps mild to warm.

What will likely happen if Global Warming continues is we'll go through a long series of wild weather patterns of both hot and cold.  Which honestly wouldn't be so bad if the precipitation levels were normal.  It seems like NA is receiving much less precipitation and Europe is getting more.

The Bible correctly predicted dozens and dozens of prophecies. Mayans didn't predict shit, except the collapse of their civilization

The bible never said the Earth was flat. The Catholic church said the Earth was flat because of the Ptolmic views they held onto since the founding of the church by decree of the Roman Emperor Consantine. The sect of Christianity he choose to create the new state religion had mixed the views of Plato with that of 'ancient' Christianity, to the point where traidition and not biblical scripture became the overiding force that guides them. And a central belief of Ptolimic views was the world was flat. (The funny thing is Jesus condemed the Pharasees and Sagucees for following tradition and not the word of god. And sorry about my spelling the auto-checker isn't working for some reason.)

Actually it is quit the opposite at Isaiah 40:22 is says: "There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers." And the Hebrew word that is translated here as circle could also be translated as sphere or globe.

As for the prophacies Jesus life and death fulfilled nearly 100 prophacies in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testement).

Jesus was betrayed by a friend

In Psalm 41:9, King David wrote a prayer asking for mercy in his last days. Zechariah foreshadowed the betrayal of Jesus for 30 pieces of silver

In Zechariah 11:4-17, the prophet speaks of a payment involving 30 pieces of silver and of a good shepherd whose service is brought to an end. This foreshadows an event that happened to Jesus about 500 years later. As explained in Matthew 26:15, Judas was paid 30 silver coins for his betrayal of Jesus. Judas told the Romans when and where they could arrest Jesus without being surrounded by a large crowd of Jesus' followers. Nineveh's army officers would desert

Nineveh would be destroyed, permanently

Bible prophecy: Nahum 3:19
Prophecy written: About 614 BC
Prophecy fulfilled: 612 BC

In Nahum 3:19 (and 1:9), the prophet said that Nineveh, which was the Assyrian Empire's capital and perhaps the most powerful city of the ancient world, would suffer a wound that would never heal.

In 612 BC (about 2600 years ago), a coalition of Babylonians, Scythians and Medes conquered the heavily fortified city. According to the Bible, Nineveh was to be punished for the empire's inhumane treatment of Israel.

It is unknown as to when exactly Nahum delivered this prophecy. Some scholars speculate that it was delivered about two years before the conquest. But, it is known that Nahum was correct: the city of Nineveh, as well as the Assyrian empire as a whole, never recovered from the defeat.

It is worth noting that recovery would not have been unprecedented. The Assyrian empire had conquered Babylon many years beforehand, but Babylon was able to recover from that defeat, regain its power, and defeat Assyria. Babylon would rule Judah for 70 years

Bible prophecy: Jeremiah 25:11-12

Prophecy fulfilled: About 609 BC to 539 BC

In Jeremiah 25:11-12, the prophet said that the Jews would suffer 70 years of Babylonian domination. Jeremiah also said Babylon would be punished after the 70 years. Both parts of this prophecy were fulfilled. In 609 BC, which is about 2600 years ago, Babylon captured the last Assyrian king and ruled over a vast part of what had been the Assyrian empire, to which the land of Israel previously had been subjugated. Babylon later asserted its dominance by taking many Jews as captives to Babylon, and by destroying Jerusalem and the Temple. The domination ended in 539 BC, when Cyrus, a leader of Persians and Medes, conquered Babylon and brought an end to its empire. In 240 B. C. a man named Eratosthenes went so far as to calculate the circumference of the Earth with extreme accuracy using mere shadows in different cities. This is very important because not only does it show that people back then were smart but also that they knew the Earth is round. In fact they never forgot it's round. It wasn't until the Protestants started bad mouthing the Catholic Church that the people believed a round Earth was a new discovery. Just wanted to let you guys know that.
