Yes, and thats why they have such a big debt. Onlive was sold for $5 million, so these idiots from Sony paid 375 million dollars too much.

the successor of one of the best rated games ever released for pc is maybe already done and will release anytime soon. people here underestimate pc game sales through digital distribution and i think it will sell some nice amounts over the months and even years after release if it is any good (which the bidding companies could probably check before). since it will sell nicely through digital distribution the profit per sold unit will be also much better as retail only games.

they don't even have to advertise much for it because everyone who owns a pc and is interested in those games knows about it.

so yeah, i think it was not expensive.

I agree with others that Ubisoft made guaranteed returns on their South Park bid today. The game comes out in less than a month and a half and development costs are pretty much wrapped up. They can spend their money on marketing and the license is strong plus it's developed by a good developer so it'll probably get critical success as well.

4A Games Metro Last Light is one of my most anticipated games of the year. I hope Deep Silver does a good job publishing it so it gets decent sales.

they are well known at least here in germany and i believe the biggest undependend publisher in europe^^ they also publish all games of sega in the future in germany/france/spain and publish games for other gaming companies and  software/tv-series/movies. 

as example they are the publisher of king of queens here lol

If you ask me, Relic are the current kings of RTS, so I don't think they overpayed at all. Especially if their next game is mostly done already.

SEGA and Relic is a match made in heaven. Im happy with that.

Really surprised with Darksiders and Vigil.

Damn... Just looked up Vigil's track record and they've only got Darksiders under their belt. Darksiders 2 isn't selling as smoothly as Darksiders 1 did and 2 was released not too long before the Holidays.
