Volition will continue developing Saints Row 4 and they are not moving their studio according to the head of the developer. 

Wasn't part of the auction, this is a separate deal being worked out between WWE and EA or 2K or whoever.

I have a feeling EA are in a financial bind at the moment.  Not like THQ-style financial trouble, but enough to make them cautious on any bids.

Worth noting that Activision didn't buy anything either though, and they're swimming in it.

They were already developing Homefront 2, might as well buy the IP and find a new publisher for it or something so all the effort on the game isn't wasted.

German company that has a gaming division called Deep Silver Games, they published Dead Island and are putting out the Dead Island sequel. They also published Back to the Future (PS3/Wii), Gothic 3, Sacred 2 and Risen games. 

Sony is currently 16.22 billion in debt. They cant afford to buy even a hot dog stand.

They bought Gaikai for 380 million dollars 6 months ago (almost 4 times what all of THQ sold for).
