Not gonna lie but I think you guys are being a bit too paranoid abut sony fans making wiiu doom threads stuff...I certainly hope not because we have enough nintendo fans making threads to get a rise out of sony fans already...i mean ffs the next MSony consoles haven't launched yet and it's already getting bad.

I gotta agree there's way too many dooms threads around! Wii U is almost 2 months old and, like you said, the PS720 hasn't even been announcened yet!

There goes that 76mil/77mil prediction that was made. Both numbers are clearly too high. New consoles are needed soon. Sales will collapse within a year or two.

NPD is really becoming irrelevent for software though. We know Halo 4 is ahead of Assassin's Creed III. Well now we know either one is overtracked or the other is undertracked. Great... Hopefully some numbers got leaked. 

Wii U sales are really poor, especially considering they had a mega blockbuster title come out at launch and no supply issues only a week or two after launch. They need to release something that really wows the casuals or basically all their big core titles because with whats currently announced for 2013 things are only going to get worse.

No, did you forget the bundles?

Nintendo deserves a medal for sharing the numbers though. I would've said something about 2.65m HW and Nintendo Family and nothing more.

Outside of Spurge I don't see any doom threads coming from Nintendo fans. I myself made one asking why the sales were low on Europe, but that's not doom. There's already 2 threads, this will be worse than the Vita which was very annoying.

Well use Dec numbers i don't think PS3 gained more legroom since it drop more % than 360 and it drop from November*

it is worse news for sony as for microsoft because it lost more percentual and shows that ps3 is declining faster in us but if microsoft sold 450k and sony 300k less as vgc said the overall gap is lower as vgc said.

%'s are bullshit to work with. Ps3 had a smaller number to begin with which would mean numbers would effect it more. 462k drop is not good in any way. Did MS give the 360 a 50 dollar price cut this december too?

i really don't care if it got a pricecut or whatever, lower sales for ps3 means worse financial situation for sony and some sony fans will be happy about those news because ps3 will overtake the xbox earlier now. 

if we will see ps3 overtaking 360 in let's say 3 months you will see people saying "yeah awesome few months earlier as i expected". but those "awesome" news come only because of a horrible december for both, nothing to be happy about.

and % is not bullshit to work with because that shows the decline or increase of interest of people for a product. obviously microsoft lost more because it has more sales and they also lost more revenue because of that (if both consoles would cost the same) but the general interest in the 360 in usa didn't decrease as much as that for the ps3 in this month.

and one is also sure, it is also horrible for microsoft. all i tried to say is that some people will be happy to see the ps3 now earlier in front of the 360 even if they should rather be happy if vgc would have been right even if that would mean one month or so longer behind 360. 

and i would hope to see both increasing but yeah, that's not possible anymore...
