Very interesting

Pokemon X and Y will for sure have the best Year End sales but everything above already has 5+ Million units sold. That'll keep each of those games above Pokemon, for this year at least.

3. SM3DL (10mil+)
4. NSMB2 (9mil+)
5. Animal Crossing (7mil+)

I wonder though...will Nintendo be able to make enough cartridges for X/Y? If digital sales screw with this i'll be depressed.

Just notice now if nintendo does very very well it'll have 4 games by years end with over 10mil software sold!!!

What. Do people not understand this question? Year's end, doesn't that mean end of 2013? That means Pokemon is going to be in the market for 2 months. dude pokemon is great, but ain't no way it's going to outsell MK7 and Mario in TWO MONTHS. -_-

Super Mario 3D Land is already at 8 Million. All it needs is 2 Million more sales for it to beat the medium of your Pokemon sales predictions.

That's what we're trying to say. These game that have been out for 2 years now will not have their crown stolen from them that easily.

Pokemon isn't going to sell 10mil in 2 months... Black and White 2 barely managed 9mil in 2 months(of each region) and it's by far the most front loaded pokemon game, on a very established system with 130mil+ sales at the time.

Pokemon X and Y will launch on a relatively new system, with a much smaller base. I'm sure it will have much better legs then Black and White but initial sales will probably be closer to Diamond and Pearl. 6.8mil in it's first two months. Maybe a couple hundred thousand more since all the weeks will be during the holidays.
