Not trying to offend ya ok lol, just hear me out! You said MK7 how much it sold because of low install base? Well it sold a little over 4mil with a user base of 13mil! Now 3DS is at 27mil with more to come before oct maybe around 35mil or much more, then people will buy the pokemon with a 3DS, So with a userbase of at least 40mil at years end, this game will be off the charts.... To answer your Q, Pokemon B/W sold 5mil in japan 1st year in 2010! Hope this helps

Not offended, lol. That was a good response. I understand the reasoning now. I guess people's response to this question would be highly dependent on how well they think that Pokemon X and Y will do in general, and then proportioning that out to the first two months. I guess I'm too afraid to get my hopes up (<___<) so I give a lower prediction number on purpose. Hm.

ok i understand, im predicting 11mil this year, but thats just me. On a Serious Unbiased Profesional Answer. It be [8mil Min] and [13mil Max] This game got so much potential to put us back in Gen 2 era (hypness) and i personally haven't seen people this excited! This right here alone will push 3DS hardware off the chartz

By year end, this would leave Pokémon 2months to sell around 10mil units. Maybe It's just me underestimating the power of pokémon but I doubt it will sell 10mil in 2months.

This is why I predict SM3DL to be still on top, it will sell alot more units by year end. If any game surpasses it, it would be pokémon but not in 2months, give it 4 or 5months for that.

It has to be between pokemon and SM3DL, but i do see NSMB2 getting another 5mil this year, so it'll surpass SM3DL come 2014.......maybe!

I wouldn't be surprised if Pokemon sold about 15m by years end

it will most likely be bundled, and it's being released in the holidays

Hell, i think it will do 8m just in it's first week, if not more
