That's a lot of great games! Soooooo many Nintendo games. lol that 7 of the top 10 are Mario & Zelda... and I can't argue with it. The only thing that REALLY raises my eyebrows is Mario 64 being ahead of Mario Galaxy.

Deal with it .

Anyway, like you, I think the top 10 couldn't have been better!

I loved seeing the "/Deluxe" after Mario Bros, since that's how I put it on my list xD I wonder how many others specified that version

I did. I got into games too late to have an NES, so my exposure to Super Mario Bros was through the GBC version.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Same here. The game was great, with the ability to save being the best feature.

The Boo races and Yoshi Egg hunts were great fun as well.

I have never gotten what the meaning of the adventure genre is? Is it like a light-novel type of game, since that is what heavy rain represents and I have also seen Ace Attorney and Layton within that genre.

You're pretty much correct on your assumption. Point and Click adventures like The Curse of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango are the superstars of the Adventure genre (despite not making it on this list...), but newer games like Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton (this one is an Adventure-Puzzle hybrid) have lead to a resnaissance in the genre.

Talk to Okr if you have any other questions about the Adventure genre. He is the master.

Pokemon Ruby is my fave game of all time.

It's definitely an awesome game... and it made the top 100. Pretty nifty. ^_^

Also, I like how for each Nintendo handheld, each top game is a Pokemon game.

halo reach probably has the most awesome box art out of all the games
