Found my old PS2 inside a closet a few days ago and decided it was time to turn it on after 3 years.

Replaying Shadow of the colossus made me realize the masterpiece this game really is.   I ended up buying the HD version on PSN.

- This game must really have pushed PS2 to its limits when it was released.  Graphics still look good, even 6 years after it was released.

 - The best boss fights ever.  Wander looks so small compared to them.

It's a shame that this games is so Underrated.

Love this game.  I bought it after seeing a preview for it in a gaming magazine back when it first came out.  Awesome game, great scenery, epic boss battles.  It was also featured in an Adam Sandler/Don Cheadle movie "Reign Over Me".

Two collosi in SOTC is so not enough to judge the game on. I cant get myself to play Ico because im not fond of it. But I wont call it shit because I just have only played it for an hour. The first two collosi of SOTC are like tutorials almost. The bad ass ones later on are like actual puzzles and coming from someone who isnt fond of puzzles, the way SOTC incorporates them with that scale is amazing.

This game is incredibly immersive.  Sometimes I felt bad for having to kill the colossus, specially the ones that did not attack me first, like the fifth one(The bird)

The things that most impress in this game are the scale of the colossus and how each of them requires a different gameplay strategy to be defeated.

Playing this game is indeed a magnificent experience.  One that you'll never forget.

Played it for the first time a month or so ago... I'm mad it took me 6+ years to play what is now my second favorite game of all time.

Similar for me, last year I tried it again after a 2-year hiatus (wasn't able to get into it the first time), and when I did I felt like I had missed out, but was still so satisfied.

My favorite parts: The flying colossus, riding on Agro. Loved it.

Great poll zumnupy, I like how there are no choices between "extremely underrated" and "very overrated"...

I don't think it's underrated in the slightest. It's considered one of the best PS2 games and deservedly so.

loved it myself,i hear quite a few people can't get into it but for me the gameworld of SotC was right up my street, the solitary world and i thought the bosses were spectacular at the time

I felt bad sometimes as well for killing the colossi but it had to be done.

I don't agree at all, Ico is far better and even that is already overrated.
