Do you belive Vita sold 80k in Americas... well less than 70k in US in Black Friday... the portable is dead but that's low number is crazy even for a dead machine in BF.
700k is too high... so I guess at least 200k it sold in BF (the bundle made a lot of success).
The NPD will be intersting again.
On topic: Very disappointed by Vita Black Friday numbers. Was expecting so much more. Giving up hope in it getting sales, now (but not giving up hope on the console, which I still like). Impressed, however, that it is still creeping up in Europe.
PS3 had a nice BF though, which I am pleased with!
Very, very nice opening weeks for NSMBU & Nintendoland with insane attach rates for both of them, kudos.
I don't find the first week opening of PSABR too bad either. Not a runaway success, but like every game of its type which opens low, I'm expecting legs.
Looking kinda drab for Epic Mickey 2 on everything expect Wii, too. Shouldn't just kept it on that console really!
A nice opening week for Persona 4 Golden as well (even if it's lower than the pre-order chart would have led me to believe) and pleased that all the Infamous & Uncharted's are back in the charts. Still think those are crazy numbers from Infamous 1 though.
Also seems like decent week for AC3 Liberation & Blops Declassified with the bundles.
What I'm most looking forward to this week, though, is whether Everybody's Golf for the PS3 is tracked. It's not in the database, but it released this week in Japan.
edit: NEVER MIND, I see that it is in the database now, one of the DB admin must've been telling fibs about adding new games because it 100% wasn't in the database yesterday.

what does this change if you think this changes anything? console sales did increase 285% and uncharted sales increased 275% black friday and the weeks before uncharted sales were already higher because of that bundle as they were without. in combination with a black friday drop for the standalone game it seems absolutely right.

Those x360 numbers are HUGE. PS3 numbers are BIG.
I don't get all the negativity about the vita.
It's all relative. During the year it was doing a few thousand. Now it has hit six figures. That's a massive increase based on it's previous record.
