Why post then? Gamrpoints?

This is the vita second year on the market so I'm hoping (oh god I'm hoping) that developers are on a two year cycle like on consoles so games might start rolling out. All I want is a great FPS in my pocket

I read that article before this was posted. It reads like wishful thinking.

Are you kidding? I have a life, unlike others here. I said that because I thought the title was so dumb that it demotivated me from reading the article.

Got a brain? Use it.

It might crush the 3ds if they drop it on top of it.

I hope it will sell well, but saying it will "crush handheld competitors" seems a bit farfetched to me even with the actions Sony has taken.

Oh look, yet another "Vita is d00med" thr... hey, wait a minute!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Well done. I almost laughed.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I agree with all three of your points. The PS-Vita is a great value (except those expensive limited capacity proprietary crap memory cards sony decided to force again). It has a bunch of really good games and PS+ instant library makes it one of the cheapest new game machines anyone can get (aside PS3 itself I mean).

The problem remains Sony's marketing approach. It isn't working... so they need to copy Nintendo and Microsoft in that area.

Sony's single biggest failing is their philosophy of doing Everything. It spreads them thin, they don't yet have a Mario or Zelda reverance IP while Microsoft started with Halo. They have a poorly supported PS-Move while Nintendo dedicates a new console for each new controller (every one of their consoles has had a new controller). Not saying the PS-Move should have been the controller for PS3... just that it's not worth putting out controllers if they will further spread you just so you can say it does Everything.

Sometimes, if you can't do it best... don't do it at all.
