Ok cool. Tell me how many its shipped up to this point and Ill change it.
Sony shipped total 6.3m PS3+PS2 since April 1st to September 30th based on their FY Q1/2 report. And according to today's PR, there were total 7m PS3 shipped since April 1st to November 4th. Comparing these 2 data, I guess total 5.5m PS3 shipped in the last 2 quaters, so the gap between PS3 and 360 is about 1.5m till Sep, 30th.
Guys, do you agree?

Well some games are severely undertracked. GOW3 for example is 500-700k undertracked

No, kowen. Sony have shipped 15 Million. Not 8 Million.

MS said back in the day it was a first step in the business. They lose billions of dolars all the time (ultimate tv, kin, zune) they can afford that kind of investment with their huge pockets, they ended up second in that gen, they brought shooters and PC games to consoles and the best infrastructure to buy and play online (and charge for it) those are key factors in the present gen.

GT5 would be another recent example.
Our tracking outside of the main countries is well known for being off. ioi himself has admitted this. Its simply much harder to track games in certain territories. It just so happens to be that the PS3 does reaaaaally well there.
Good to hear the PS3 doing so well, should be able to out ship the X360 this holiday.

We have it at 68 million as of the 3rd. 2 million in the channel? Seems a smidge low.
