But Sony deserves a lot of the bashing considering the Vita is actually doing poorly. And so all those doom talks are somewhat justified. I thus don't really consider it "bashing".

Right now it's Sony, but I suspect that it will be Nintendo after the Wii U is released.

Clearly not MS, because there is zero talk about MS here. Then again, I haven't seen much newsworthy stuff coming out from MS recently aside from Halo 4 and sales figures.

Probably Sony atm, with the Vita hate and all. That will probably change with the Wii U. Console launches are ALWAYS greeted with skepticism and hate. It's what gamers do.

well over the VGC years it's probably even between sony/nintendo,if the nextbox can elevate itself to be No 1 then microsoft can rise to this level of bashing

Sony catches some heat now because they are in trouble. Nintendo on the other hand gets criticized nonstop, it doesn't matter at all if they are first or last. "Wah too much Mario, wah too little new IP's, wah hardware too weak/old/white/stupid name/not what I want, wah motion controls, wah nintendo being nintendo etc etc."

The only correct answer is Nintendo.

Easy - Sony

Nintendo fans hate Sony because they trounced the N64/GC, totally destrroying Nintendo with relative ease and taking the 3rd parties.

The MS fans hate Sony because the PS3 will eventually put the 360 in 3rd place.

Nintendo fans and Microsoft fans get along, in the mutual agreement that Sony fans are the greater evil.

Meanwhile, Sony fans hate everything. Why? Just because.
