Forums - Nintendo - Pachter Says He Isn’t A Fan Of (Cough! Bipolar) Wii U, And Thinks Third-Party Support Will Be Dire

Now I'm much confident that Wii U will be a success. Early I was worried about it, because Pachter was saying good things, but now that he's criticizing I'm sure Wii U will end up being the most successful console ever!

When he was saying good things about the U I swear I was breaking cold sweats.

I think he tried to talk about the fact that your eyes have to adopt the difference of depth between TV and GamePad. This, of course, takes a moment and can be tiring for your eyes when done a lot (and eventually cause sickness for really weak people). But it's quite a dumb reason, just like "the WiiMote destroys TVs!!!", especially after praising the Wii U a few days ago.

If you read his full post though it doesnt sound completly like he bashing Wii U just that he thinks publishers and developers are going to look at it like the Wii. Which in fact is a possibility.

Personally I think Wii U will see much better 3rd party support than the Wii but there are a couple factors which could affect this.

So according to Pachter, I should not look at my speedometer while driving because it's not natural?

Where does "Bipolar" come into this?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

It's in reference to the fact that just recently Pachter gave a lot of priase tothe Wii U and said it would be successful.

Is that Bi-polarism? I'm not up on the illness so I don't know the ins and outs. I would assume it made him indecisive no Bi-polar

Or rear, or side view mirrior lol

This guy has single handedly made  murphy's law do a 180* turn when it comes to Nintendo and their success.

"Anything that can go wrong will go wrong." Same for Nintendo when Pachter comes to the equation. He states what can go wrong with the console, but in the long run it does the opposite, and Nintendo succeeds.

People that are bipolar tend to have huge mood swings which can make them positive on a subject one minute and then negative about it the next minute.  It's usually in reference to themselves but it gets projected onto extrernal factors as well.
