But does the Wii U have blast processing? That is the question.

SEEEEGGGGGAAAA!!!! lmaooo NINTENDON'T

On par with PS360 then...

(I'm balancing the hate and the praise on the thread)

STAGE
No, you cant know it, because those console specs havent been revealed, and you dont know which hw was running those demos

Nintendo did capitalize on grafix during the GC era, money and effort put on its 1st and 2nd party games prove it, the best looking games that gen were GC games, Starfox adventures, Rebel strike, REmake, RE0, RE4 and Metroid prime, all of them made thanks to Nintendo

So better graphics but less enemies? I wonder how well that interview was translated. Maybe he meant that the CPU seems less powerful because they haven't worked with it long enough to know how to utilize it they way they know how to utilize the PS3 and 360. Remember how devs use to complain about not being able to harness the power of the PS3 as well as they could with the 360?

I didn't see anything about less enemies.  The way I understood it, because the game was designed for a system with a stronger CPU, they're going to have to rework the coding structure in order to shift the computational heavy-lifting.  I think all he's really saying is that they haven't had a chance to really optimize the game for the Wii U yet, so the demo is going to perform better on the PS3.

He didn't say that it won't happen, just that they're working on it.  Reworking a game for a new console with a different structure can't be easy.  It's always going to take time to master.  It's just something that might crop up early in the Wii U's life, the same way it did for the PS3.

This is true. Though when it came to drawing polygons and doing first person games, the SNES couldn't compete with the genesis do to the slow calculations.

That's a total of what, 5 games?

Super Nes had a slower processor than the Sega Genesis but when the SNES was utilized properly, the Genesis couldn't compare to the output of the SNES.

Some things never change.

Of course, most people are going to read this news and think it means that the Wii U has weaker graphics(because that is all a lot of them care about) when the dev clearly states that the Wii U has superior graphics capabilities. I wonder why nobody is discussing that statement though.

Of course, I haven't seen much change in the way AI works in a Musou game since DW4. I honestly think that most of the processor power in modern games is wasted on middleware engines anyway.

As far as what can appear on screen goes. The Wii U trumps the competition.

Firstly, the Wii U looking better than the PS3/360 should be a given.  It would only be an issue if it did not, which would be pretty unfathomable.

Secondly, performance is a far more important issue, so it's no wonder that people are talking about that.  I don't care how great something looks if the gameplay is choppy.  I doubt that will be the case if developers are given time to really get comfortable with developing on the Wii U, but it's still something to keep an eye on with multi-platform games early in the Wii U's life-cycle.

doesnt the GPGPU help this case out?
