I can't see sensse in guys that buy a PS3 to run Linux... that's the point... easy is better for all.

I want a simple and easy smart phone... I don't want to deal with crashes, bugs or customizations.

Just no...there is only 1 iOS device and 1 million android devices...it's a ridiculous comparison to make

I agree. Nevertheless the 17% iOS is an unbelievable number for just one product.

You don't need, but if you want, you are free to do it. On iOS you simply don't have such option.

If my 3DS could be costumized, I would costumize it. I always wanted my own wallpaper of choice, another trivial thing you can't do on iOS.

Yeap... It's personal preference... I love to just put the game in the box and play it. All the stuff you do to play a game in PC is a waste os time for me because that this generation of consoles is a step back with patches and install (I can understand patch for multiplayer but not for singleplayer... and no install for all).

I want a simple life.

You can do that in iOS... that kind of customizations is fine for me too: wallpapers, ringtones, colors, theme, etc... that's easy on iOS.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. Maybe the number one actually. Do you even know what customization means? It is there to make your life easier, so that you can get more out of your phone. I think you need to check your dictionary. A customizable Os will be EASIER to use, not the other way around.

Another stupid thing is the crashes argument. Sure if you buy a 100$ Android phone it will have more problems than Iphone. Most of the phones that costs more than half of what Iphone cost are pretty stable. You just need to know which brands are good. Galaxy Nexus costs half of what Iphone costs and it is just as stable while being much more fun to use, and it can do much more.

I am not a developer but their point of view I would say iOS. Simply because it wouldn't take that much to create an app that will work on all current iphones. Android have to many different manufacturers resulting in different input types (for phones) and hardware which can make things difficult.

As a consumer I would go with iOS as well. I had an LG android phone (from work) and some apps just don't work right on it whereas these same apps worked on the my friend's samsung.

They are a lot of good android phones out there but while the cheap as chips versions drive up android's market share they leave a lot to be desired.
