Which is the better OS?

Android 52 51.49%

iOS 32 31.68%

Windows 13 12.87%

Symbian 2 1.98%

Blackberry OS 1 0.99%

Other 1 0.99%

Total:101

Having used multiple Android phones (g1, g2, Moto Cliq, Galaxy s2) and then having switched to windows (Lumia 710 and HTC Radar). my next phone purchase will be a windows 8 phone (likely the 8x). I work for a telecommunications company so I get the pleasure to use a wide variety of phones. I prefer windows because I'm a fan of minimalism design, a phone that just 'works', and being able to accomplish my tasks quickly. I feel Windows offers that over Android. I've only used an Iphone 3gs for a couple weeks and wasn't too impressed so I can't make a comment on IOS.

I hope Microsoft gets their act together and continues pushing forward with WP8. They need to stabilize their app eco-system and get developers on board because they have the best UI in town and combine many of the best features of iOS and Android (more flexible than iOS, less buggy and "themed" than Android, and hopefully a better update cycle than Android).

It seems that the only way that will happen is if their marketshare increases so that developers see it as a viable option.   There are certain apps that I really miss from Android (mostly Stumbleupon)  that I don't see coming to Windows unless it takes off.

Android over 50% for the vgz demographic now.

Was expecting to see more blackberry people here, I thought those phones were big in America.

I went with Android because it doesn't require itunes installing to transfer media to it. I really need the plug and play ease of Android as a consumer. I also find the Google account Integration makes having multiple devices so easy to setup. Finally the widget approach and having the option to change the appearance to meet my requirements seems better on android but I haven't given ios a lot of time in that regard.

Last windows phone i used was 6 which was a pda really, cant comment on the recent improvements.  We use Blackberry devices at work and can honestly say they are awful and buggy to boot.

iOS is the obvious answer for me.

Wait... We're the people who chose BB OS kidding...?

Android by a light year!

I had an iPhone and I couldn't do anything I wanted with it. iOS feels like it was made for kids and old folks.
