No HD display, no NFC and OS that is showing it's age... truly ahead of competition.

Retina display is HD....

iOS 6 is released today...so it's not old by any means...lol?

It's not HD based on the official classification. It has a very high pixel density though so it doesn't matter much

But yeah, I think price should be talked more about in reviews. This phone is way more expensive than alternatives from other manufacturers.

After you use the Retina Display you never go back to other screen again... so epic win from Apple.

What does that even mean?

It means that PallusPardus can't accept that someone else doesn't view things the same as he does.  If that happens, it HAS to be due to unreasonable bias from the other party.

Such as...?

Galaxy S3...

On a contract Galaxy s3 and iPhone 5 can be bought for the same price (at least in the UK). Besides there's not much of difference in actual price between the galaxy s3 and iPhone 5 anyway. Annnnyway, the iPhone 5 is superior to the s3 in nearly every way

Lol there is bias, and there is blatant boasting of a product , this one is the latter.

I've used a phone with a Retina Display and I've used a Galaxy S3. 'Retina Display' is just a fancy term apple made up to make it seem fancier than it is.

lol it's not.

if you buy a phone without contract galaxy s 3 is way cheaper. why should people do that? because they can then find a contract anywhere else or buy a prepaid card to get in the end a much cheaper way to pay for the phone exactly how you need it. no clue how it is in brazil  but here, many do that and pay much less with that as they would with a stupid contract at one of the few providers who have an iphone 5 contract.

I guess it just depends on where you live. I just checked out the AT&T page and guess what iPhone 5 starts at $199 and the Galaxy S3 is $199. Wow, so much more expensive! Oh, wait...

I just checked at two carriers in Japan. One has the GS3 and the other has the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 is free (16gb), 10,320 yen (32gb) or 20,640 yen (64gb) with contract. If you want the GS3 it costs 19,110 yen with contract. Hmmm....

I guess it depends on wherre you live, in Japan the actual price of the iPhone 5 handset cost is 51,360 yen (16gb), 61,680 yen (32gb) and 72,000 yen (64gb). The price for the GS3 handset by itself is 74,550 yen.
