I don't like smartphones either. It's convenient because I can check my work email no matter where I am, and text messaging is a bit simpler with the iPhone's glass screen compared to my previous dumbphone's plastic screen, but I wouldn't say I like my phone or am really glad I own it. I'm just glad I got it for free.

if iPhones had an SD card slot like most android and wp8 phones. The choice would be easier to get an iPhone but i don't want to be limited by 16gb (the model i would probably get if i got an iPhone), as it would fill up quickly because of all the stuff I got on iTunes already. (I bought 7gb of music from there already and lots of apps!))

I don't like Android... the UI is just a crap.

Why?  Well so the workers know what the product can do, can get used to any changes, and can be familiar with likely stumbling blocks, bugs and errors to help people when they inevitably comeback and want help with any dozen of things.

His story doesn't sound any less believable to me then yours does.

Both seem pretty silly.  Iphone hasn't nearly been out long enough for somone to make such a bold pronouncement.  Thing just released in the states.

Both seem like people way jumping the gun.

Also, for what it's worth, i know a couple people who work in Apple Stores who dislike apple products.

Why? Apple is an AWESOME employer.

They pay well over average and have good benefits.

That's the great thing about those "premium" brands. They usually take care of their employees with said premium.

Just like Starbucks.

One of my closest friends is trying to get into an Apple store pretty badly through a guy we both know... and he's generally hostile towards apple.

 

He liked it when he first got his Mac...(he currently works at best buy and gets a discount on returned products) but turned on it 5-6 months later for whatever reason.
