If yo do get a smartphone, get an iPhone. They are superior to all other smartphones by a long shot

Based on trying to help my brother-in-laws iPhone to work, my main experiences with iTunes were desperately trying to get it to sync properly on Windows7. He had tons of music he wanted to sync over but for some reason it just wouldn't go over. Can't rmember how I did it in the end but it was a pain when on other phones I've just copy & pasted.
He oddly hasn't asked me to do the same with his Galaxy SIII which is weird... probably got my niece to do it.

My sister has a Galaxy s3 and I have an iPhone 5. I can assure you that I've used both of them a lot

You know FLAC is dead... no new release after 2007 and no news after 2009.
I really like FLAC and it was my main archiver music format but now there are better options (more updated with more features) like WavPack, TAK, Monkey's Audio, ALAC.
Anyway lossless audio is not for mobile use and there are no difference in quality between any of these... so you can use ALAC with iTunes.

lol most complaints I hear of S3 is that it is too big. It's a nuisance to hold it or keep it in your pocket.
