Oh c'mon, hack the 3DS instead. >_< I demand a Homebrew Channel 3DS so I can get around that bloody region-locking and start importing ecchi games.

I didn't thought about that, but importing japanese games could be a big plus. Stupid Nintendo introducing region-locking.

Hmm, could homebrewers activate the additional puzzles that the japanese have?

Don't know how that works but I'd guess that you need the Japanese game to do that, or perhaps a modified copy of it.

As additional puzzles for the Mii Plaza (or how it is named in english, in german it's 'Streetpass Mii-Lobby') are downloaded via SpotPass it might be possible to add them. I already Streetpassed a japanese 3DS, that had the additional puzzles, that were only '???' for me and I couldn't get a piece from it.

Sounds like 90% of the PS3 homebrew scene "developers".

It's not really something to laugh at, that's the guy claiming to have hacked the PSV. These guys aren't trying to do anything with it other than pirate games. All these guys want to do is bring Sony down anyway they can. It's not going to help anything. If you want to hack the vita on your own, i don't see any thing wrong with it, until you release the knowledge to the public, then you're hurting the company's business and it should be illegal.

Well, if true, at least it lasted more than it's big brother... which lasted 6 months.

If the Vita is already hacked, it's too early to save her. There are not enough games to pirate and if word spreads third parties will abandon the device in no time.

A little OT but would it be possible to remove the region lock of the 3DS with a firmware update? I am not a big supporter of hacking consoles, it harms the manufacturer and leads to games being canceeled due to fear of piracy and poor sales, but if someone would hack the 3DS in a way that only removes the lock and leaves everything else in it's original state I would probably give in.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Oh, I thought you were talking about Layton or something. I guess it would be possible to get those puzzles in some way.

Chill guys, this won't kill the Vita. Firmware can block it if it's real, which it might not be. And the PSP still managed to do okay despite being hacked to hell and back.

I'll buy a Vita as soon as there are playable games through memory stick.

My 3DS will remain virgin though.

Homebrew on it already? Is there homebrew on the 3DS yet?

As far as I know, the 3DS is only hacked in DS-compatibility-mode (with DS-hacks), that means you can run DS-homebrew, but cannot use the new hardware of the 3DS. That sucks, as I like some of the homebrew-apps for DS and want to make more use from the 3DS.

3DS Firmware has been decrypted recently thats how far along 3ds hacking is

To be hoest homebrew (to me anyway) is almost moot these days since the launch smart phones.

I use to own a PSP for homebrew now most the things I did with homebrew I can do with an app on android.
