That is retarded lol.

But why would you have multiple PSN accounts o.O

short version: PSN Europe = sucks
We don't even get Counter Strike GO this week... when it was released everywhere else last week..

Oh I see, at least you guys got 100+ PSX Games AMIRITE!?

......We don't even have Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Breath of Fire 4, Wild Arms, Umjammer Lammy, Rtype Delta and a lot more.. it's so fucked up that we have all the PS1 Tomb Raiders except number 2.. Syphon filter 1 and 3 but no 2.. Parasite Eve 2 but not 1 etc etc

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

This is going to sound blunt, but that's retarded! What's their reasoning for this?

Money.

I don't see how this makes them money. It just adds another hurdle for Vita owners.

They could have easily just done what they did with the PSP, download content from multiple accounts but the content is only playable if the account it is tied to is activated.

It's probably just to make current Vita owners buy another memory card so they can access other shops. Sony knows that die hard fans will do anything, so they might as well exploit them. I can't see any other reason as to why they would lock memory cards?

@ Italics: R-Type Delta got removed from US PSN.  All R-Type games did.  While it sucks that we never had it, neither of us have it at the moment.

@ Bold: We definitely, definitely have Tomb Raider 2 on EU PSN, as well as Wild ARMs 1.  Tomb Raider 2 is currently on offer in the summer sale, in fact.  I have them both downloaded to my account in any case.  Go and double-check if you're uncertain, but they are there for me.

You are correct about the other two though.  It is quite frustrating missing a Syphon Filter (I do have a hard copy of it, but still, it just makes no sense).

Also I agree with you about the games, I really would like to see Castlevania & BoF 4 brought over.  And Legend of Dragoon.  But equally, there are games on the EU PSN that aren't on the US one.  So it's a mixed bag.  They really need to unify the service if I'm being honest.

Apparently, Sony needs less sales for the vita...

Just joking

Yay!!!

I can't either. Even then, that reason doesn't seem good enough and I highly doubt that it will benefit them, it just generates more negative press.

sony is starting to sound like an an asshole these with their decision with the memory. it would awesome if i could switch memories with someone to play his games. Only the software then should be account bound so they would prevent sharing and such methods. it would be confusing to elaborate further because then I would need to tackle the whole software ownership subject

Buy your own damn games.

It's better than having your whole system locked to a single account, anyways memory cards are cheap.

I hope this was being sarcastic.  Sony is essentially saying that you aren't allowed to lend out a game that is theoretically yours.  The fact that it is digital, and not physical, is immaterial--you bought it and if they don't like what you're doing with it, well, they can go cry because you own it now.

Not that Nintendo's any better--3DS and Wii downloaded games can't even be moved off their host system at all without a lot of hassle.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
