The very day it came out in America, August 19th.

b. How happy are you with your purchase?

IM SO HAPPY I GOT IT!!!

c. What inspired you to make a purchase?

I wasn't really interested the 3DS until more good games came out. Once the XL was announced I knew that was the one I wanted.

1. Do you own a 3DS/3DSXL?

I have my beloved Cosmos Black Ambassator 3DS.

a. If yes, when did you buy it?

I bought it as soon as it hits American shores. I have a friend that constantly travels to the US, so I gave him the money in order to get my 3DS. So, to be precise, March/2011.

b. How happy are you with your purchase?

At first I was very HAPPY, because it motivated me to free myself from flashcards and start building my own DS/3DS Library. And, as soon as Ocarina of Time was launched, I was even happier. Lately I'm loving my 3DS even more than I loved my DS, because of NSMB2 and other games.

c. What inspired you to make a purchase?

I have to be honest here: I've never played Ocarina of Time before, and I'm a huge TLoZ fan, so it was my first motivation to buy the 3DS. Other reasons soon justified the purchase: I hate to use glasses to see 3D movies, it gives me INSANE headaches and I never enjoy the movie properly. With the 3DS effect, I've never experienced a headache (ok, twice: playing Face Raiders while drunk is not a good idea and while I was playing Heroes of Ruin demo). And I really love portable gaming, so the smart purchase was to buy the 3DS. I may buy 3DS XL next year, if the world doesn't come to an end =D

I don't feel like doing the number thing so I bought one. I liked it. I bought it again in a bigger version. I liked it even more. End of story.

Yep. In fact I have both of 'em at this moment.

Cosmo Black 3DS: March 27, 2011 (NA Launch Day)
Black/Blue 3DSXL: August 24, 2012

b. How happy are you with your purchase?

Despite being a launch day buyer, I wasn't too pleased with the game selection. That changed when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D released 3 months later (should have just waited until then). Now I'm very much pleased with the handheld, as Holiday Season 2011 and 2012 have brought some fantastic games. Right now I'm playing New Super Mario Bros. 2, and having a blast.

c. What inspired you to make a purchase?

I wanted to be a day 1 purchaser. It's more fun that way. Looking back, I could have waited for the release of OoT 3D to buy the system, but I did use it to play Okamiden (the circle pad worked great with the game).

2. If not, is there any chance of you buying one in the future?

Just bought the XL, so I'm set.

a. What would need to happen for you to buy one in the future?

b. Would you be more likely to buy a 3DS or XL?

XL. The screens are fantastic and really enhance everything visually, especially the 3D. Great piece of tech.

If the 3DS XL was the same price as the 3DS (£135), then I would get one tomorrow

Quite happy. :)

DAT PURPLE 3DS. Kid Icarus, summer sales, DS backwards-compatibility, a few VC and eShop games.

August, about a day before the price drop, although mine was still dirt cheap.

9/10 It will become a 10 after i get my hands on Luigi's Mansion 2

c. What inspired you to make a purchase?

I wasn't going to buy one for ages. But then I saw Luigi's Mansion 2 and that slowly convinced me. So I bought one. Also I'd never properly played Ocarina Of Time so that helped and Kid Icarus: Uprising looked intriguing. KI:U now being one of my fave games ever!
