They should start with Jet Set Radio and the NiGHTS into Dreams...

Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 take precedence over all things created on this earth.

But NiGHTS would be good after that.

That was the best selling 3rd party Sega game of the last generation.  2.5 million copies WW of SA2: Battle were sold by the end.

How about something new to a Nintendo console.  :p

It will come too though, I'm sure of it.   A lot of good potential titles if you look last gen.

PSO EP 1 & 2 and I'm buying the Wii U at launch.

Shenmue 2 would have done so much better on the Gamecube.

Spartan Total Warrior must have sucked bad with those sells.

Or the Dreamcast*..

*wasn't released on the DC in the U.S. due to MS (XBOX) exclusivity deal.

It wasn't released on the DC in the US because the DC was discontinued. It had absolutely nothing to do with the Xbox. The DC died before the Xbox was even annouced.

As the numbers show, Sega's titles did the best on the GC. Shenmue would have done way better on it. It would have had far less competition and more gamers who were into games that weren't the same old dry copy and pastes that have become a standard of the industry today.

The Xbox1, 360 and PS3 are all all about Military Shooters and Medieval/Ancient sword fights. Shenmue never had a chance on the Xbox.

I still find it weird Sega releasing games for a Nintendo console lol, still really great news!

It was released on the Dreamcast in Japan and Europe in late 2001, even after the DC was discontinued earlier in the year (though not in a ENG dub).

But I don't disagree that the game would have done well on the GC, and that a port would've easy money for Sega*.  Just that it could've also been the Dreamcast's Swan song in the U.S. too.

*the Gamecube had the right tool-set to easily port DC games.

Europe and Japan aren't run by Sega of America. Different priorities and different ideas. Sega of America has always followed the beat of a different drum and altered the beats that they didn't feel suited their "preferred" audience.

The things that were SEGA's strenght became lost when they got their hands on it.

I was waiting for it on the DC myself. Back before I ever had a computer I would go to EB asking if it had come out yet ever weak. It was a huge disappointment when I found out that it was only coming out for the Xbox.

SEGA's horrid management has always overrided its appeal and ingenious innovation. It is honestly a dead copmany to me now that Yu Suzuki has left. That means thatthe  possibility of a "TRUE" Shenmue 3 is over. There may be a game that has that name sometime in the future but it won't be Shenmue 3 without him writing and directing it.

The only thing I'm still looking foward to from them in the American release of PS02. I've played the Japanese version and I must say that it is very good. It would fit the Wii U well. They should bring that to the eshop.

Gameplay elements can be good or bad with or without him, the story's already written though so that won't change.  But isn't Suzuki there in some kind of non-developer role?

considering that Sonic 4 epi.2 never made it to WiiWare thats the first game that'll be on the list
