I don't care about portable. Whenever I'm on the move I am either riding my bike or driving my car, so then it's not possible for me to play a portable. If I'm at home, I'd rather play on my PC or PS3, so there aren't really many situations in my life in which I would warrent the purchase of a portable.

the question should be more like "why you got vita?".
too expensive and by now not enough games. also, why does sony again introduce a proprietary storage-solution which i can only use on vita? sorry, but definitely a "no-buy".

So to me it is looking like price of the system is key. So would it be fair to say that Sony has about 2million people waiting in the wing for a price drop and almost another 2million simply waiting on games?

I would like it if Sony would at least tap into the 2mill waiting on that price drop sometime this year. It would be very foolish to let this Christmas season go by without one.

Yeah. For me personally it's games. So far Gravity Rush looks great. Also Orgarhythm, but I don't know if it will come to europe. Some more good games and I might bite.

Because there are not too many games that I care about, but to be honest the 3DS really does not have much either that I want. I just got it because its Nintendo and zelda.

I think this is the truth that many are not willing to admit....

I have recently tried looking at in the opposite way. I am a PS fan, I love their games. Not so much a fan of Nintendo's stable. So when I see new entries of these titles, I know they are highly praised...might even be a little fun....but they just do not strike my fansy. I got a Vita, and while there are a few games on 3DS that entice me, none of it is enough to trully get me to get one. The only games I would steal for Vita are...

  • Pokemon
  • Prof. Layton
  • FF Tactics Advanced(Which I think is a better game Gameplay wise than normal Tactics, its the TRUTH)
So all the Mario fauning and Zelda worship going on right now in 3DS camp, I just don't understand the hype. I am thinking many have the opposite feeling.

I have to disagree here. I bought the 3DS because of the games. For me it's so far Resident Evil: Revelations, Kid Icarus, Dillons Rolling Western and Zelda (although an remake). Add to this that I can play my library of DS-games and future games that will come for sure like Etrian Odyssey, Monster Hunter and Fire Emblem.

Right, they banned phones while driving, but they didn't say anything about Vitas :P

Chose "It is too expensive, waiting for Price Drop!"

The deal breaker for me is the price of the memory sticks. Given the size of the games (PSP and PSV) that I would like to download, it would probably end up costing more than half the price of the system itself. That said, I plan on picking one up by the end of the year if I can find a decent deal.

I Have no interest in portables. However if in the dim distant future, when I'm ready to buy a PS4 if they offer a PS4 Vits bundle then I would be inclined to get that bundle. I like the idea of PSV as a controller for PS3/4 games.

I hope I'm not being a hypocrit. I'm pretty sure I never bagged the concept of the Wii U controller. I'm not all that impressed with the look and design of the Wii U controller, but the concept of it seems good.

I just don't want another system that will turn out like my PSP, where I bought only 6 games, and only really played Monster Hunter extensively. So I don't have any urge to go through that again. I just have really no interest in a Vita.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Most of the poll options suit me:
1. I already have a smartphone (not as powerfull as a Vita though)
2. Not enough games to do justice to Vita and to justify its price
3. Handheld gaming is swallowed by smartphones
4. Most ppl already own a psp/ds

The game(s) I want isn't out yet. And hopefully they will make a bigger version.

lol what? I hope this is just an ironic post. Vita is gigantic (in a good way).

It's already almost too big to be considered a handheld console. lol

By the way... I think there is no real reason to not get it. Except for 1) not having enough time to play (but that's a good reason for ignoring any console). 2) not liking its games (... I still think it's almost impossible not liking any of those games).

Because... for what it offers, the price is very good. I'm not talking about 250. I'm talking about 200 with one game and one memory card. Brand new. Or even cheaper. You just have to do a little research. Who cares about "official prices". Vita is a lot cheaper than 250. Almost everywhere.

Not enough games? What? There are a lot of very interesting games already out and a lot of (apparently) good/great games are coming. Soon. It's not even been six months and Vita already has so many great games. So... the games are there and the price is right.

Every gamer (except for handheld haters) should get one. :)
