There is only one reasonable explanation: I am not worthy of it.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

It's not worthy of abbath the erm... I mean I personally see no game I really need, and the Uncharted game demo didn't interest me like Uncharted did on the PS3.

If the Vita had exclusives by Team Ico or Uncharted PS3, I would buy it. Right now the games that make me interested are PASBR and LBP Vita. But it's still too little. I would also need some fighting games and have the games reduce drastically in price to the 20$ and less. A FFX remake would be basically an insta-buy if other games are cheap.

I'd say by next year if I don't own one it would be a weird thing.

Also, a Ni No Kuni port for the Vita would really please me.

No Nintendo games.

I wonder if there's still people calling it the PSP Vista... (As seen from foolish video game journalists)

Well there's your answer. You have 70 games and 20% are new IPs, that's 7 games. If you have 200, that's 20.

The real reason for the "no games" argument is that while you and others may not be keen on Nintendo franchises like Mario and Zelda, (even I'm not if it's on a portable) a huge number of people are, hence something like Mario Kart 7 will have much more draw power than say, Wipeout on Vita. They say "no games" but what they mean is "not enough big name games."

What I find unfair is that the Vita is expected, less than a year into its lifespan, to measure up to the 1.5 year old 3DS. The Vita needs time to grow.

Something went wrong with your math there buddy

My maths teacher was hot so I never paid attention in class :P

Games are a bigger (percieved) problem than price in my opinion. The mass market will put in the cash if the product has software they really want; look at how well the PS3 did at $299, which is arguably above mass market price.

+1 to Team Ico game though it wont happen since it seems like TLG seemed to been axed and the group seemed to be closed to dead, also Ni No Kuni seems to be heading towards being PS3 only.

There's also gonna be a FFX HD coming out for Vita, but its also coming out for PS3.

There's a few fighters that have more features and full DLCs on the Vita already (Mortal Kombat + Street Fighter X Tekken have full DLCs from what I know/read) and UMvsC3 has a few extra features.

Also saying...games on the vita being cut down to 20 dollars would warrant you a purchase for those games....but you wouldnt mind paying 40 bucks for a 3DS game o.O? Isnt that a bit weird...? I can understand games costing 50 bucks to be a bit too much, but saying it should go down to 20 bucks would be a bad idea for business overall (as much as I would love to say I would so buy the games on that price *_*!)

I only buy certain games for 40$, I didn't even buy NSMB2. I very rarely buy games new. This far for 3DS I own SFIV 3D, OOT3D and SM3DL, I bought them at new price. But I don't buy games easily.

HTH

Thanks for the points, I knew about FFXHD coming on PS3 I didn't realize it was coming to Vita. When they drop in price I will buy them all with a Vita I'm almost certain of it.

My wish would be PSP backwards compatibility, but that's just icing. If everything else is there I'm sure to pick one up, the HW is alluring.

Just wanted to get a general consensus of this.

Ok let me teach you something about polls that is vital for them to be representative. The options have to be mutually exclusive. Many of the options you give dont exactly exclude other options.

My reason personally is: Not enough games and too pricey.

Only 2 games i would get if i had it would be Ys4 remake wich isnt out yet and Wipeout 2048 wich im unsure of cause its said to have atrocious load times.

250 for the system + 50 for a memory card = 300 + games... for one that might not be a very good version of the series and a short but fun RPG? Yeah, not gonna happen, at least for now.

I also got a 3DS, wich has fire emblem coming early next year, most probably monster hunter and even nintendo games look appealing (luigis mansion and paper mario).

They fixed those load times, but yes they were long when it released. I think it was something like 1 min 20 secs to start playing, now I think its 30 to 40 secs. Oh and it got a price drop, $19.99.

Thought I now everyone wants a large memory card, 16gb/32gb, you should consider snaging the next bundle you see. Not only will you get a game like LBP, CoD:BO:D, or AC3:L there will be a memory card. Probably only a 4gb but it will atleast hold you until memory prices go down or a sweet deal comes by. You can always stick to retail games or manage digital titles by deleting ones you aren't playing (you can always redownload them)

Thats good news cause i love wipeout.

I even bought the DLC for wipeout pulse on the PSP, wich i think is the best one ever (havent played the PS3 HD ones though).

Would love to get a Vita, but its still too pricey and risky for me. We shall see after Ys gets at least confirmed for a west release. Sony needs to do a price cut, wether they like it or not.

Price, games, and I already have a 3DS. There's nothing I "need" that's on the PSV

No Nintendo games.

Have to admit, it would be more appealing if it had nintendo support. :D

Uncharted:GA is not enough for me. If Type-0, a Monster Hunter or an Infamous game comes out though, I will buy it straight away.
