i already own 2 Nintendo portables that fully satisfy my gaming needs

Honestly the price isn't a huge factor for me. At the end of the day $250 isn't some terrible hurdle to surpass like it was when I was in high school and bought a Wii (hooray for having two jobs now! ).

It's just at this point, I see no need in buying a Vita. I really don't feel like I'm missing anything at the moment, and until that feeling changes, I feel no pressure in participating with Sony's new handheld. With two jobs, college courses, and more responsibilities than ever before, my gaming time has definitely taken a hit. I can only a buy and play a few games a year now, so I'm going to buy and play the games that really stick out for me. Right now the 3DS, PC, and (soon to be) Wii U have my full attention, and I'm totally fine with that.

The only Vita game on my radar at the moment is Dragon's Crown by VanillaWare, and seeing how that game will be going to the PS3 as well (in where I will bug my friend to bring his PS3 over and I'll rent the game off of Redbox ), it's barely a blip when it comes to Vita.

So while I'm fully aware of the quality titles available for the platform, there really hasn't been any titles that have really stood out to me. That's the reason I don't have a Vita. Maybe someday.

There just needs to be more games and ill get it, Im gunna try pick one up this year but ill probably end up getting it next year.

lol, no it should be funny to the mods. They're the ones who have to deal with people who spearhead perceived bias. But forum users have a very limited window on the entire workings of the site or the level of moderation that is done. That and there is confusion over what isn't acceptable and when discretion can be used. I figured they'd get a chuckle out of it because I bet it happens to them more times then they'd like. I have never been banned, I don't believe this site has any bias or believe I should tell people that they are doing their jobs "wrong".

I want to get the Vita, but am not in any hurry. IMO why buy it now when it's more expensive and has less games than say 2 years from now. I mainly play console so even 3DS doesn't appeal to me atm. With handhelds, I think it's better to wait until they've come down in price and have a big back catalogue . Consoles on the other hand I will get asap (Generally within 1st year on market).

1. Too expensive (system & memory cards)

2. No games interests me aside from Persona 4 (which I could already play on my PS2).

3. A good amount of the games are also available on the PS3.

4. No backwards compability (UMD) and no PS1 support.

I don't own a 3DS, but I'm very close on owing one due to Final Fantasy Theatrhythm, Devil Survivor Overlocked, the new Kingdom Hearts game, some first party games and all the other DS games I missed.
