Silent Hill U!!!!!
Parasite Eve U!!!!

those 3 would be soooo awesome
Fatal frame actually could really come true, since Nintendo has recently bought the IP (or something..

using pyrokinesis with your tablet to aim the neo-mitochondrial monsters without the "pause" screen would be orgasmic...  bring aya brea to WiiU!!!

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

geez one horror game on a console and its the "perfect fit" give me a break...... ohh and the last of us will rip this game into tiny little pieces.....

What the hell does that have to do with anything? @_@

the last of us is a surviver game if this dude thinks just because Wii U is gonna be a perfect fit for surviver games because of zombieU, what will the PS3 be after the last of us releases? exucse me im just having a bad day and probably just letting it out on some poor guy just marketing his game

So far, no part of what I've seen of The Last of Us looks like survival horror.

it sure is survivor with some horror elements. yes it doesnt have the dark gritty art style. it isnt a horror but it has some elements

Am I expected to believe a game called ZombiU will have a good, solid storyline? I'm sure it'll have plenty of zombies. I'm just not sure about everything else. And no, even if the gameplay is good, that by itself is not glood enough for me. It just seems to me that calling this a survival horror game is a stretch. Perhaps an action game with zombies jumping at you.

I find it kind of odd that he would talk about multiplayer before making his "perfect fit" point, since I don't consider multiplayer scary, but I must say I agree. The action going on while you do inventory management or small tasks on the second screen should raise the fear factor up a couple notches. I'm sure stumbling onto a zombie while scanning should be good for some scares too. If ZombiU takes off, maybe other horror games will find even newer ways to scare us!

This post might have some meaning if the Last of Us was, in any way, a survivial horror game.

The Last Of Us doesn't look anything like a survival horror game to me. I haven't seen anything that stops me from thinking it's just an Uncharted clone in terms of gameplay. We haven't had a proper survival horror game in donkeys years. Resident Evils 4, 5 and 6, Dead Space 1, 2 and especially 3, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 and Dead Rising 1 and 2 are more action games than survival horror games. The Dead Space franchise would be the closest we've seen, but even so that's still more action horror than survival horror. Too much ammo, not enough (if any!) scares.

Co-op play does not belong to a survival horror game at all. The whole point of a survival horror game is to put you, alone, against seemingly insurmountable odds with limited resources. All of those games above give you too much ammo, and The Last Of Us will do the same.

Shattered Memories? Ju-on? The Calling? Resident Evil Zero Archives?

Yeah, because when demonic creatures are eating your virtual avatar the most practical thing to do is to take your eyes off from where your character is been torn to pieces.

If you are scared by a situation and drop your control you will definitely be very happy of buying another one of those cheap controllers.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
