Forums - Nintendo - Why should I buy a WiiU?

You realise that Starfox, Metroid and F-Zero are coming later on in the WiiU's life right- why are you hating on the console (and Nintendo as a whole) just for not releasing all their franchises at launch?

I'm not even going to give you a response to your question, because you've already made up your mind.

So, I ask the question to you: Why bother asking in the first place?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

What a lovely dog in your avatar Conegamer!

I love dogs to bits but haven't got one myself, just two pussy cats...one of which is in my avatar.

Completely off topic but thought he/she deserved a mention lol.

They are?...I hope so.

Why else would they put a starfox + f-zero game in their nintendoland offerings?

I don't even give a shit what games are announced for launch or right after launch. I buy a Nintendo console because I know what eventually will come out (or I wait till they release a game that I want then I get it (aka SSB or MK)).  Also, they will put out a few new IPs each generation (they have a decent amount of new IPs since 2000+). I barely paid attention to E3 and I barely have kept up with any of the Wii U games.

You need to take the overprice console out of the op. That is complete bullshit. Nintendo releases their consoles with a consumer friendly price.

I don't like your thread meanyface. Instead, I give you pictures of trains:

You might say *puts on sunglasses* that I'm trying to...derail the thread. YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! He is pretty awesome

It's probably the most important part of the thread anyway, the rest seems like nonsense to me :/

I think Nintendo is trying to once again give third-party a chance by leaving barely any of their games besides a really big NSMB game at WiiU's launch window. Maybe they are and have already developed all those first party games that could sell WiiUs in case third parties don't show up and release them in time quickly before WiiU's momentum drops (if there is any)?

I think they also need to have something ready for christmas 2013 when the competition is comming out with their new consoles to avoid losing momentum.
