hmm, one of us has failed English, I thinkt it's me. I didn't mean that Alfred was dreaming, my post was replied to d21's comment about how calm and unsuprised Alfred acted when he saw Bruce, what I was trying to say is that he always dreamed of this moment and when he finally saw it, he did not want to ruin it by running at them and screaming "OMG U ALIVE".

anyways I think we can agree the ending does not not make sense.

I thought that's what you meant anyway.

I think we've both failed english & comprehension then LOLOL. 

I think the ending has some holes which if filled would make perfect sense.

There were a few seconds left. He dropped it, but it detonated right before it touched the water. In fact, if you remember the way the smoke went, it seems like thats exactly what happened.

I don't know if you saw Catwoman's ass but since I saw that movie, even I imagine my GF as Selina Kyle when I see her from the back.  And the bat-signal was repaired due to nanobots.  The autopilot was repaired six months ago.  I'm sure Bruce did a lot of things before he died.

Look, you're just resorting to these far fetched reasons why Batman had to survive that explosion.  It's obvious that the only way we can solve this disagreement is with a poll.

 It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the BATMAN... but by our skills with a lightsaber

Especially as you have seemingly insulted MGS4 by saying nanobots which perhaps caused plotholes in MGS4's "perfect" story.

hmmmm...curious...very curious.

I'll be going for a 3rd viewing soon, I'll keep my eyes peeled during that scene.

Your theory would allow Batman to survive without a tsunami being caused though.

it doesnt make sense because its a movie and he could jump off the plain whenever he wanted and the movie still wouldnt show it..
