Meanwhile, Unreal Engine 4 will be optimized for the iPhone so Epic can make more money from Infinity Blade.
I read this as: UE4 can run on the Wii U, just in a reduced form, hence the 'UE3 is a better fit for the system' comment.
The important question to ask is how reduced will it be from the other 2 consoles, as the changes that will be made need to justify the port process.

What's that suppose to mean?
| lilbroex said: The main line is "if a customer decides they want to port an Unreal Engine 4 game to Wii U, they could" That pretty much answers all question about whether or not it will run on the system. |
Didn't Epic say it would be scalable down to iPhone levels?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
despite what they're saying now i hope that epic decides to make a game for the Wii U someday; they're a great development team!

1. It's not like that's any different from the Wii
2. In case you missed it, he said the engine can be scaled
3. Unreal Engine isn't the end all be all of game engines, there are alternatives out there.
Grrrrrrrrr, I hope next gen games dont get scaled down just because of the WII-U!!!!!!
