We're at 4.46m and the PC version is obviously undertracked. I'd say pretty spot on.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of that was due to the ridiculous steam sales that game gets all the time.

You could do worse for a Diabloesque FPS.

Though they overpromised if you ask me... they made it sound like the gun variations were going to make each gun a lot more different from each other then they turned out.

I have yet to play Borderlands but I am excited. I have the copy unopened. I initially shunned it because of the cartoon art-style but later decided that it doesn't matter if the gameplay is good.

6 million is a great sucess for a new IP. Will be interesting to see if the sequel can top that.

There wasn't much hype or advertising when it released. It basically sold of word of mouth which is fairly amazing.

there is a giant sale on Amazon and you can pick up Borderlands (I think GOTY edition) for 8 dollars. I didn't pick it up because I already have too many FPSs

Fun game. They should fix the inventory menu's. Also i end up in places where enemies are always 2-3 levels higher but that is my fault. Good for them for launching successful IP.
