Can anyone help me on my quest?



My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Halo 4 first 9 weeks sales prediction

PS4 to be down YOY in 2015

Yeah, I've got Empire Earth, but I've never really enjoyed it for some reason. It is still a good game though and is the type of game I'm looking for though, so you're close.

Yeah it's gotta be Rise of Nations. There are no others from that era.

By the way you phrased the question they are assuming you are looking for a particular game whose name you don't know and want details about what you remember.

Ohh, I can see why he thought that. 

I'm just looking for a game from that era that is on the same level as Cossacks: EW and AoE 2

Rise of Nations is pretty good, I grabbed a copy in gamestation for £1 :p. Although I think it's effectively a carbon copy of every RTS game released in that time frame.. Cossacks were amazing, you're like the first person I met on the interwebz who played it other than me.
